Church Partnerships
Supporting Mental Health Through Faith Initiative
“Bear one another's burdens, and in this way fulfill the law of Christ”
Galatians 6:2
The Church is the first place many turn to for help. We are here to ensure they find it.
The Supporting Mental Health Through Faith Initiative is a collaborative partnership between Revelation Counseling Center and local faith communities. Our mission is to bridge the gap between clinical mental health care and pastoral ministry, ensuring that no one in the Body of Christ has to walk through mental health challenges alone.
We believe that true healing encompasses the mind, body, and spirit. By partnering together, we can provide a continuum of care that honors Scripture while utilizing evidence-based clinical tools.

Trusted Clinical Referrals
When a congregant’s needs exceed the scope of pastoral counseling, the Initiative provides a trusted pathway for professional care.
Seamless Handoff: We work with church staff to ensure a smooth transition from pastoral care to clinical therapy.
Faith-Integrated: We respect the spiritual authority of the church and integrate Biblical wisdom into the healing process.
Accessible: We accept most major insurance plans (Aetna, BCBS, Cigna, Optum, Tricare) to remove financial barriers for your members.
Equipping the Church
Educational Workshops
Prevention is just as important as intervention. As part of the Initiative, we bring psychoeducational workshops directly to your church to strengthen families.
Love and Logic® Parenting: Practical skills for raising responsible kids.
Parenting with Faith: Blending Biblical truth with child development.
GriefShare: Facilitating support groups for those mourning a loss.
Marriage Enrichment: Tools for communication and conflict resolution.
Leadership Consultation
Pastors carry a heavy load. We offer consultation for ministry leaders to help assess risk, understand complex mental health symptoms, and determine the best course of action for church members in crisis.
Congregational Sponsorship
Removing financial barriers through benevolence.
We know that finances are often the biggest obstacle preventing people from seeking help. As part of the Supporting Mental Health Through Faith Initiative, we offer a structured way for churches to financially sponsor counseling for their members using Benevolence or Care Ministry funds.
How It Works:
Customized Agreements: You determine the level of support that fits your budget. Some churches choose to cover a specific number of sessions (e.g., "The first 3 sessions are covered"), while others cover a lump sum, or percentage of the fee .
Strict Confidentiality: While the church provides the financial support, the clinical relationship remains strictly between the counselor and the client. To protect member privacy, the church receives a simple invoice for "Professional Services" without sensitive clinical details.
Seamless Billing: We set up a Third-Party Billing agreement, so we invoice the church directly. This means the hurting individual doesn't have to worry about payment at the time of their session—they can just focus on healing.
